Lake Vegoritida also known as Lake Arnissa is located near the village of Saint Panteleimon and is one of the deepest in Greece
The environment around the lake creates ideal conditions for dozens of bird, fish and animal species. This unique ecosystem dazzles every visitor, filling them with positive energy and the tranquility of the area.
The dense oak forestland surrounding Lake Vegoritida is the first awe-inspiring sight we will come across in the near magical and impressive landscape. Our trip begins with a cycling ride around the lake. We will stop many times to observe the rare bird species of the area. There are three observation points equipped with binoculars, which will helps us greatly in this respect. Following the end of our bicycle ride we will proceed to the Alfa winery of Amyntaio where we can try the local wine and food delicacies.
The trip will conclude with a meal in Saint Panteleimon and more specifically in the restaurant Naoumidis, which was awarded the 2017 Best Greek Cuisine award. Authentic dishes stemming from traditional recipes that are cooked using genuine and fresh raw materials will serve as a fitting epilogue to our trip.
